We built the app we needed.
MishMish was born from a simple feeling, wanting to be closer to your deen, but not knowing where to start.
You already have God in your heart.
You feel it during Ramadan. You feel it during Eid. You feel it in quiet moments, on a long drive, before you fall asleep, when life suddenly gets heavy.
That connection never left. It's just waiting for a daily home. Somewhere simple. Somewhere warm. Three minutes where you open a verse, sit with its meaning, and close with a dua.
Not because you have to. Because it feels good. That's what MishMish is.
What if three minutes was enough?
We didn't set out to build another Quran app. There are plenty of good ones. We set out to answer one question: what would a daily Quran practice look like if it was designed to feel effortless?
The answer wasn't more features. It wasn't more content. It was less. One verse. One reflection. One dua. Three minutes. A tiny daily practice that grows into something beautiful.
And to keep you company? A gentle cat companion that glows brighter every day you spend together.
فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
"Indeed, with hardship comes ease."
What we believe
Mercy first, always
Islam is a religion of mercy. MishMish celebrates every single day you show up. Every day is a fresh start.
Small over overwhelming
Three minutes of presence with one verse can carry you through the whole day. Small and consistent is its own kind of devotion.
Joyful over heavy
Your deen should feel like coming home, not like homework. We made the daily practice something you look forward to.
Authentic over trendy
Our content is rooted in classical tafsir scholarship. We don't make up interpretations. We don't use AI to generate religious rulings. The Quran speaks for itself, we just help you hear it.
Built by Muslims, for Muslims
MishMish is built by a small team of Muslims who believe your daily practice should feel like a gift, not a burden. We're not scholars, we're builders who care deeply about getting this right.
We work with established Islamic scholarship, use freely-licensed classical tafsir sources, and are committed to accuracy in everything we present.
10% of MishMish's profits support global Islamic education initiatives.
